Rome (Italy)
EU roaming. Good coverage in the city centre. The Italian network works in the Vatican too.
Amsterdam (Netherlands)
EU roaming. The city is compact, with excellent coverage. Tip: the GVB app for public transport.
Berlin (Germany)
EU roaming. A reliable network. There's a signal on the U-Bahn and S-Bahn.
Non-EU cities (you need an eSIM!)
London (United Kingdom)
Not an EU member state since Brexit! Roaming fees apply. London's network is excellent (EE, Three, Vodafone UK), but an eSIM is the most economical solution.
Istanbul (Turkey)
Non-EU. An eSIM is strongly recommended. The city's 4G/5G coverage is excellent. Tip: the İstanbulkart (transit card) is physical, but Google Maps is essential for navigation.
