Why get an eSIM for Namibia?
Namibia, with the red dunes of Sossusvlei, the wildlife of Etosha National Park, the Fish River Canyon and the Skeleton Coast, is one of Africa's great self-drive destinations.
At the moment eSIM Surfer has no data plan that covers Namibia: no country, regional or global plan includes it. If Namibia is one stop on a longer trip, for example with South Africa, Botswana or Zambia, you can still use eSIM Surfer for those destinations. New plans appear in the app as soon as they become available.
Namibia is outside EU roaming, and home carriers usually charge extra for data there, so check your own tariff before you travel. Signal is patchy away from the towns, so download offline maps before you set off.
