Why get an eSIM for Djibouti?
Djibouti, on the Horn of Africa, packs lunar landscapes into a small country: the salt flats of Lake Assal, Africa's lowest point, the Gulf of Tadjoura and the Ghoubbet bay.
At the moment eSIM Surfer has no data plan that covers Djibouti: no country, regional or global plan includes it. If Djibouti is one stop on a longer trip, for example with Ethiopia, you can still use eSIM Surfer for those destinations. New plans appear in the app as soon as they become available.
Djibouti is outside EU roaming, and home carriers usually charge extra for data there, so check your own tariff before you travel. Download offline maps before heading out of the capital.
